"Beanly was created with The Gimp"<p>I can tell.<p>Interesting I never heard of this. That site feels straight out of 1999.
Which projects still use BeanShell? I have not heard of BeanShell since... idk 2012? or something, who is maintaining it as well, I would hope someone didn't just fork it and Oracle owns the rights to it somehow? Was Sun fully involved with BeanShell? I don't recall some of this.<p>Love seeing old projects come back to life though.
jEdit uses BeanShell and appears to still be alive.
A fairly large community of people use MicroManager to run and automate microscopes, which is an extremely overgrown ImageJ plugin.
This website is the most soulful thing I've seen today.
I will remember today with a smile in face as the day I met Beany[0].<p>[0] <a href="https://beanshell.github.io/beany.html" rel="nofollow">https://beanshell.github.io/beany.html</a>
I finally can release my badly design projects from my graveyard, which will convience propspect users of the effort I put into it.
Hell yeah, I loved beanshell! We used to use it in Android development to give our apps a debug repl, telnet-style. It was so nice, if antiquated even back then. Excited to see this worthy project continue.
After a long hiatus, BeanShell3 is back on schedule.
OMG blast from the past!
This was unexpected
OMG!
