For the uninitiated this is using Neural Amp Modelling (NAM) captures of guitar amps (yes guitar amps all sounds different and people like to use different ones for different things).<p>NAM (an open source project) is about 8x more expensive to run that a standard C++ amp simulator (which emulate tone characteristics of a guitar amp using standard DSP algorithms).<p>However, I'm not seeing a link to the code here. Without that it's just an article and could be entirely fictional.
Oh excellent! Once I get a bit of time I will try hooking NAM A2-l to a controller and then putting THAT inside of one of my old drive pedals for style.
Always great to see folks modding their audio interfaces. How's the power draw with NAM running on that hardware?
