The browser has quietly become the most underrated runtime. A year ago this would have needed a desktop app and a beefy GPU. Now it just needs a tab.
How is it underrated when it is heavily used for literally anything, even when it makes no sense to be used?<p>I'd say it is actually overrated.<p>P.S. This running on your browser doesn't change its computational needs of the work done locally on your side. So, if it runs, either you have a beefy GPU or it doesn't actually need one.
