    What a coincidence. My company just upgraded their AS400/IBM i and nobody wanted to buy the old one, so it’s just sitting there. I think it’s a Power 8 Processor…

      Nitpick: AS&#x2F;400&#x2F;i <i>aren&#x27;t</i> mainframes, they&#x27;re &quot;mid-range&quot; in IBM speak, or the last of the &quot;minicomputers&quot;, a totally separate line from IBM 360&#x2F;70&#x2F;90&#x2F;Z.

      That could be a lot of fun to play with, especially if it has PowerVM.

        POWER 8 with AS&#x2F;400 AFAIK had PowerVM as mandatory requirement (runs with VIOS)

    Very cool! What compilers and interpreters are available? I know that rexx wasn&#x27;t available at the time that the open source vm&#x2F;370 was released. Has the community found a way to add rexx?
