    Bit box A box B about this. Firstly, the CEO is probably massively unfit for roles. We all say this about our CEO and Boards, at some time, no?<p>Secondly the HR department would have reported to a Csuite who should have been fired, I can buy. But collective responsibility for deploying an IT solution unfit for purpose shouldn&#x27;t automatically terminate an entire dept for cause, and you would think the HR staff have legal redress.

      If this story is true, they were probably fired for lying about doing screening interviews and working hard when all resumes were being auto-rejected.
